This webinar will discuss working with children and families experiencing high conflict divorce. Participants will learn how to adopt a highly effective therapeutic role and how to implement it when faced with the conflicting agendas parents often present with.

We will discuss strategies that can be used either with the child alone or in combination with their parent and/or siblings, including playful psychoeducation, using games & art to process feelings, and creative ways to teach coping skills. Creative and multisensory strategies on how to help children and parents adjust to their new situation will be also covered.

Effective parent education to reduce the chance of a child developing a loyalty bind will also be outlined with resources provided.
