Displaced Lives: Gender Based Violence, Refugees, and Resettlement
Please join the Center on Violence Against Women and Children, as well as other departmental and community co-partners, for a discussion with expert researchers, practitioners, and community organizations, as we learn and discuss the intersection of gender-based violence, refugees, and resettlement. The first part of the event will hear from expert panelists, with the second part of the day focused on an interactive session to stimulate reflection and collaborative discussion between researchers, practitioners, community members, and students. All attendees will have access to an online site for continued learning and there will be a networking lunch provided. This is part 2 of a series of a two-part Fall '17 and Spring '18 "Incubation" events examining Gender Based Violence (GBV) and displacement/ refugee issues. This is meant for a non expert audience of students, community members, practioners, researchers, NGOs, faculty, etc.
