Culture, race, ethnicity, gender, and other identities play a significant role in how trauma affects not only the individual but their treatment. Other factors such as mental illness and substance abuse will not only influence the outcome but are vital components in understanding the multifaceted issues such as intergenerational trauma. The purpose of this webinar is to explore how diversity plays a role in trauma, provides an overview of intergenerational trauma and the importance of incorporating cultural healing in treatment.
