Creative Interventions for Children and Adolescents with Anxiety
ID: 5745WEBThis highly experiential webinar draws from the fields of cognitive behavioral therapy, yoga, mindfulness, and expressive arts. We will explore creative strategies and activities for psychoeducation and intervention with children and teenagers ages 6-17 who experience anxiety. We will review important information about children and adolescents with anxiety, including ways to incorporate parent support. Participants will learn child & adolescent friendly ways to provide therapeutic support to their clients, including: developing appropriate psychoeducation, strategies to foster a calmer nervous system, externalizing the problem, and building a repertoire of effective coping skills.
