Dare to Lead
The world needs social workers who are willing to model transparency, vulnerability, and authenticity - foundational skills for cultivating conditions of equity, inclusion, and belonging. Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program. Completing this six session, 30-hour online CE program will help you a) deepen your understanding of the dynamics of identity and power that influence our relationship to vulnerability and courage, b) Better understand why vulnerability (uncertainty, risk, and emotional exposure) is the foundational skill of courage and c) Better understand the critical role that self-awareness plays in daring leadership. incorporate a social justice lens focusing on identity and power. The program will incorporate a social justice lens focusing on identity and power.This online Rutgers Continuing Education Dare to Lead™ program will be facilitated by Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitators Lizza Robb, MSW, PCC and Dr. Tanya Williams Ed.D. It will run on six consecutive Fridays beginning September 29, 2023 from 10am-3pm ET. This program is limited to 40 spots. No refunds once the program has started. To earn CE hours attendees must attend all hours of the six sessions.
