Understanding the Fundamentals of Trauma

The treatment of trauma continues to be a central focus in psychotherapy. This webinar is designed to explore specific resilience-based trauma therapy interventions for clients who have experienced trauma. The eight guides to trauma treatment will be presented along with core trauma competencies for clinicians. Cultural considerations in advanced trauma treatment will be discussed and learners will have the opportunity to use critical thinking skills by examining case studies that encourage application of advanced trauma treatment techniques.
