LOG IN INSTRUCTIONS: If you registered for a live webinar, you will receive an email from Rutgers one day before the webinar with a link to register in Zoom. You will receive it again the morning of the webinar. Once registered with Zoom, Zoom will send you your webinar login link and password. You will need this to attend. This link is unique to you. (Please check your spam/junk folders in you don't receive the emails). Please login to your webinar a little early to avoid missing content. Questions can be referred to the general email: CE@ssw.rutgers.edu

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Attendance: You must attend an event in its entirety to receive CE hours. Refunds and partial CE hours for partial attendance are not provided. There will be no exceptions.

Refunds: To receive a refund, you must notify us in writing prior to the event at ce@ssw.rutgers.edu. You can request a credit (valid for one year) that can be applied towards another webinar or event, or you can receive a refund less a $15 cancelation fee. Credits cannot be exchanged for a refund. If you do not attend the event without previously informing us, no refund or credit will be provided. All refund requests must be made within 30 days after the event.

Event Cancellations: When an event is cancelled by the Office of Continuing Education (e.g., technical issues, emergencies, insufficient enrollment) no penalties apply, and full refunds will be provided.

Accommodations: Requests for accommodations for individuals with disabilities can be made by contacting the continuing education office at ce@ssw.rutgers.edu within ten days of the event. Please include a contact name, phone number, and the accommodation requested.

Complaint/Grievance Process: When a grievance or complaint arises pertaining to continuing education programs or processes, the complainant is expected to notify the Director of Continuing Education by email within thirty days following the incident. Our goal is to resolve issues in a customer-focused and timely fashion. In the email, please describe your concern in detail and include your phone number. The grievance will be reviewed by the Continuing Education Director and Assistant Director and addressed within 30 days following issuance of the grievance. The Director of Continuing Education is Douglas Behan, DSW, LCSW at dbehan@ssw.rutgers.edu. A grievance may be resolved by modifications to future offerings, and/or by providing a partial or full refund to the complainant, or an alternative opportunity. If this resolution is not agreed to, the final step is to present your concerns to the Dean of the School of Social Work. The decision of the Dean is final, and no additional action will be taken.
